PS5 randomly deleted the game

Morning. Odd and completely strange bug - turned on my PS5 to find FFXIV was no longer installed for some strange reason. No errors or anything. Just gone! It was there yesterday when I was playing it.

Tried restarting the console and restoring licenses, but still gone. It appears I can however still redownload it, which is inconvenient.

Without any error codes all I can advise is the game was installed to the internal PS5 SSD. The saved system data is still there.

If it helps - when I close the game I always log out to the login starter screen, hold the PS5 button to go to the home screen, and then close the game. Never been an issue until now.

Edit: should also add, this is the digital version of the game. I do however own the disc based version of the PS5. Although I hadn't inserted or removed a disc since closing the game yesterday and today when it disappeared.
