Thread: 1.22 Monk weapons

Ya, the bows are ridiculous (both ifrit and garuda). The garuda claws are ridiculous. The only classes that really win out on design are the MRD, LNC, and the CNJ.

I really do hope they come out with weapons that are stylized but not so damn busy or over-the-top clownish.

Any HNM LS worth something had picked a pld and pooled currency for them to get an aegis... so saying "Oh, but it was a relic weapon..." Doesn't really cut it.

The PGL weapons look different that's for sure... I'd like to see how they're used in game before I have an opinion though... The moogle weapons look like Sock'em Boppers though :P

Katars/Punch-daggers. Tonfas. Go lazy and have the design invisible and only show the gloves you have equipped. Animal paws (literal bear claws man!). Anything but these bricks.

Whelps, looks like the new weapon stats are out. Garuda weapons look like it's speed oriented, so as PGL/MNK we'll probably be looking to use the claws to cap out accuracy, increase critical damage (especially with Blindside), and increase TP gain for WS spam. Damage cap would probably be easier to hit too.

They're not really any bigger than the other endgame weapons (although I agree that ALL of them should be smaller, more like the Hora weapons), and these at least look freaking amazing unlike the stupid Mogfists or those dumb ass bricks.

And I agree that it's really annoying that any time SE wants to make a "joke" weapon they instantly go to PGL/MNK as the butt of the joke.
