No, you called it a "deceptive reward scheme." You don't get to pull up all victimized when you come in spitting venom like that. Here's a tip when you want to get actual help from support staff: don't be a jerk. The person you're talking to didn't wrong you. The person you're talking to may, in fact, be able to help solve your problem. But the person you're talking to doesn't have to solve anything if you don't give them a reason to. Pulling up all haughty about 30 years of customer loyalty and "deceptive" practices isn't going to win you any sympathy from support staff. You stopped just short of "do you know who I am" and let me tell you, everyone reading this can hear it anyway. You did not approach this as a problem you wanted an actual solution to. You approached this as "you owe me. You are beneath me. And you will do as I say."
