Refusing to take aggro when you're in the tank role is considered griefing and reportable. Also, its possible to complete current expert dungeons without a tank.Exactly and shirk them if you ask them to stop and they don't. The ok to pull if you're not a tank crowd on the forum is standard fare here. For the most part it rarely happens in dungeons. It's rare when pulls aren't 2 or 3 sets and usually happens in my experience with new to dungeon tanks and those who know they are under geared.

Considering I usually pull on a healer when the tank (often overgeared for the run as it is, and ignoring AoE-heavy classes in the group) refuses to pull more than boring baby packs.... yeah, I usually can. I will also heal a DPS pulling ahead more than I will the tank who refuses to take aggro from them because they're a child on a power trip.
Do your job and grow up. Tanking takes zero effort anymore and you have no excuse for being lazy.
I hope you're aware I'm only joking! :<Considering I usually pull on a healer when the tank (often overgeared for the run as it is, and ignoring AoE-heavy classes in the group) refuses to pull more than boring baby packs.... yeah, I usually can. Fair points and all, but sometimes you don't want to lengthen the run cause one dps decided to pull unnecessary mobs. It either ends in killing us all or we kill it and waste time for that sweet sweet 1k exp.
I've had that happen in Aurum Vale the other day, not even a sprout, some guy with his augmented law order bow, ran across from where I was tanking the two groups at the start and pulled everything nearly killing us.
I'd like to see this sort of behavior less, and if I can punish it, I will

This thread is like watching moths head butting a light bulb, the people with any nuance left ages ago, now its 2 extremes who will never agree. From my perspective, you're both wrong. If you're a tank who commonly runs into the problem of DPS pulling for you, maybe you should speed up a bit. If you're a DPS who often thinks pulls should be bigger, play a tank on your roulette runs. If you think your hot stuff and everyone else sucks, do your runs in party finder or ask your FC. If you're so good people will trample over themselves to bask in you amazing elite radiance.

You are obviously wrong because most people have light covers on their bulbs so they are never head butting the bulb. Like tanks it is the light bulb that is doing the agro control, getting their attention. Thankfully the healer is protecting and healing the tank like a light bulb cover, and just like flipping on the light switch the DPS has to pull things to the tank so the tank can get their attention. This thread is like watching moths head butting a light bulb, the people with any nuance left ages ago, now its 2 extremes who will never agree.
