Login issues for 02 broadband subscribers.

Just a quick post to clarify an issue that a few people seem to be experiencing.

A friend of mine has been unable to sign in recently, the launcher tells him that the website couldn't be displayed and to check his Internet settings.

It seems that a few other people are Having this problem too, and as far as I can tell they all have the same ISP (02)

After digging around a bit I found a thread on a different forum where an 02 customer discussed this with their support team and they have clarified that this is an issue in their end and that they are workin on a resolution.

It seems that the only thing to do right now is wait :/
If anyone else knows anything about this then please let me know.

Interestingly it seems that people experiencing this problem are also unable to log into the lodestone or the forums.
So seemingly there may be a lot of people with this problem who may be finding it hard to report it...

O2 (and by proxy, BeThere) customers do indeed have issues with routing at the moment. You can read about the issue on the Be Usergroup website:

There is currently no ETA on the issue, but they are working on it at the moment. Those with issues connecting who are on ISP's O2 or BeThere should not this is NOT an issue with XIV or Square Enix but with their ISP.

As you say, its simply a matter of waiting for the ISP's to resolve the issue.

Those affected should find that other websites are very slow to load, or unable to load at all. I personally (BeThere customer) cannot get onto XIV and am having difficulty with other websites such as http://www.moneysavingexpert.com and mixb.net among others.

Hopefully this will get resolved soon!

I was on O2 at my own house but I am now at GF's she is with sky i still cant log in

Just incase this helps, I was having this issue (O2 customer) so I turned off my modem for an hour or 2 and now it's let me get into the game (I also had to turn off spybot).

I'm not holding my breath that it will let me stay on, been ok for about 10 min so far
