Everyone knows that respectable hardcore raiders would put those that indulge in illegal RP in check. With no new ultimates coming till 6.0, the hardcore raiders have unsubbed from the game. Now illegal RPers are running rampant. How could you not understand this from MPK's post?

You are funny. RPers aren't illegal. People who RP always RP. Hardcore raiders don't keep RPers in check (whatever that even means). But from what MPK wrote, totally sounds like those who are bored with no new Ultimate right now are partaking a little bit more in ERP. I found it amusing.

Fortunately my house is bare necessities on the inside because I don't feel like decorating only to move to Ishgard so I don't have that issue. It's been around for a while, sure - but there was at least an attempt to be subtle about it in the past. More recently, it's become something a lot of players use as a badge of honour and seek to actively get others to partake of.
Given that some of the people they're approaching aren't even of legal age, I fear it's only a matter of time before the game gets some pretty bad publicity as a result.
I've always favoured the 'out of sight, out of mind' policy, personally.
Alas, I've had to resort to keeping my house locked to the public due to people, uh, trying to make use of it.
I do miss the out of sight out of mind of the 2.x and 3.x days, it certainly is a lot more in your face with all the brothel adverts and party finder adverts. I find it a bit odd tbh, tho since I don't rp at all and tend to avoid places other than my own house I avoid most of it.

How do you deal with rp ultimate raiders? There's a whole fc of them on jenova.
I'm sure that blows your mind.

An actual human being typed this.
RP is only illegal in that fantasy world inside of yours, friendo. Besides, I doubt RP will ever go away considering how it lives rent free inside your head.

Think it's more hindsight than what you're giving it credit for. I personally remember being on Balmung 7 years ago and seeing RPers with tinyurls in their comment that lead to RP kink lists. As others have said it's always been there, it's just seemingly more pervasive due to it hitting social media. It's been around for a while, sure - but there was at least an attempt to be subtle about it in the past. More recently, it's become something a lot of players use as a badge of honour and seek to actively get others to partake of.
