Dyed level 80 Job Gear

Heya everyone I am hoping that it is not just me who wished they would change this so I can choose to do it on my own? or another way. I have the quest for the extreme fight and I was willing to put myself through the pain and torture of going in. The thing is it never popped and I have had this quest sat in my list for a long time.

I was a little sad they did it this way as it does leave a lot of people without. I do not mind putting the grind and putting the work in is not a issue I don't want things just given as I do like a challenge, but maybe they could have given other options to require. Anybody else think the same or is it just me? lol

This is oldish gear now so maybe they could give the option with coins or tokens so you could buy?

Hopefully they will move the Idealized gear elsewhere at some point, or at least make the Weathered gear able to be upgraded to be dyeable through some other means.

That was your first mistake - don't directly queue for it. Try to look for - or form - a PF for it. Extreme modes are almost never directly queued for and people rely on the PF to organize runs. The Idealized gear is still desired by many, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding or getting a group together for it.

That said-- admittedly I'd rather they have put the dyeable AF gear in a slightly more accessible place to most people. Memoria is very fun, but I still fondly remember the days of crafting the upgrade items for my original ARR AF gear to get them dyeable. It was only in Stormblood they moved away from making dyeable AF somewhat accessible to most players, and it still kind of baffles me why change it.

Then again, they did the same thing with relics by shoving them into Eureka, and now Bozja. So...

PF being Party Finder. It's used to form parties for Extreme (including Minstrel's Ballads) and Savage.

Should the content be too hard, it will get easier with each patch because of gear increases, so you'll be able to get it eventually.

By the time "some point" rolls aroundat least 6.0 will be out and the duty will be easy enough to undersize.
The gear will only become more accessible with time.

They did I think but it's still a mechanics heavy fight. Even when it can be undersized there's going to be a few things that players will need to watch out for. It's a short one but there's a lot going on in that amount of time.
