TERA and STO are from 2011 and 2010 respectively and both are so much better at character creation than FFXIV (be it 1.0 or 2.0). So yes, FFXIV's character creation really, really needs a massive overhaul.
It hurts a little going from a really good character creator that ESO or BDO have to the limited one FFXIV has lol
