Request: Please update the character creator!

I'm glad that we atleast have a character creator, but as it currently sits- it's dated & shows it's obvious limitations- which leaves many FFXIV players wanting more
Here are some suggestions that could help the character creator better!

• Beards & stubble for all male races
• Seperate eyebrow colour option, (ex: so you can have white hair with black eyebrows)
• Thick eyebrow options for ALL races
• Enhanced skin textures & colouring (especially for Elezen & Hyur)
• Thicker eyelash options for all races- (similar to Viera)
• More makeup options:
  Optional gloss for lips while still keeping the desired colour
  More variety eyeshadow & blush styles
  Wider range of colour options- the current options leaves more to be desired
  More makeup face slots- The addition to wear Blush + Eyeshadow + face paint
  Optional eyeliner for all races that is optional for the top & bottom eyelid
  Lipstick variations & styles (painted top lip, painted bottom lip, ombre lipstick,
  lipstick slider
  
  
• Colour wheel for hair/makeup & markings/ tattoo
  
  
• More hair variations & choices
  Curly hair
  Mohawks
  Braids
  Up-do's
  Dread-locks
  Space-buns/ double buns
  Hairs with blunt/ curtain & hime style bangs (more bangs basically)
  Short hair
  Long hair
  Curly Afro's
  Gaia's Hair
  Emet Selch's Hair
  Hilda's Ponytail
  Yugiri's hairstyle
  Accurate Hairstyles from existing Final Fantasy characters like Fran, Mjrn,
  Rinoa, Quistis, Tifa, Barret, Terra, Cecil, Aeris, Irvine, Zell, Lulu, Yuna; etc.
  
  
  
• More Varied Tattoo's, Body & face Scars, blemishes & bruises
  
• Optional Body hair for males
  
  
  
• Au Ra face & horn customization
  Interchangeable Horns & Facial Scales
  
  
  
• Miqo'te Fangs & Marking/ clan paint optional customization
  Interchangeable Sun & Moon clan markings as well as optional markings
  Interchangeable fangs between Sun & Moon Miqo'te
  
  
• More Viera hairstyles (that look good)
  
• Changeable Hrothgar hair/ manes in Aesthetician
  
  
• Battle voice preview
  
  
• Show Mog shop hairstyles as well as in-game optional/ event hairstyles (greyed out if you don't own them but can still preview)

This 100%, I also would think a body option that had scars of varying lengths and severity, and faded body tattoos. Maybe even the veins like Sorceress Edea had while she was possessed. The character creator is dated, and a bit dull like the vanilla game.

I don't expect much at all, unfortunately.

But 1000% I can get behind this. Like across all the races they have enough variance for us to customize with quite a great deal if they allow us mix-match the different faces, horns, eyes, etc.


Also, allow me to put a file/sander down on my au ra's chin because Jesus christ it's pointy enough to kill an Ascian. But then if I had the chance I would combine my Raen and Xaela characters into one.

- Breast slider - up to tripple D.

I think going forward it's about time they do it. Hairstyles and new faces (potentially rework some of the ones that look ugly), give body customization and so on. In 2021 there are things I expect them to do. After so many years it's time they take a look at the character creator since we only ever got races and there is so much potential to work with them (instead of creating new ones with issues).

Honestly nice ideas, but this would be a more hope to see in the next mmo they do, which I believe will probably be announced next year with a possible 3 to 4 year development time which places it around 2023/24 for beta, 11 helped test bed and spring board lots of things for 14, and I hope 14 is the same for the next iteration of online gaming we get. Just hoping the next races designed will feel more unique and original than 11 and 14 gave.
