I'm not sure what you mean if you excluded the only example it could be compared to, since there are no other combat roles available.

Literally. Any. Other. MMORPG. Or. Role-split. Class-based. Game.

Pointing at XIV's even more homogenous roles doesn't make the last any less homogenous.
