What change do you want to see on your main class for Endwalker ?

I guess my big issue is just the overreliance on, as you said, novelty (or visual flair) in place of any and all other means of engagement.

Bingo! you know how many people were excited on the superficial display of the job actions alone? A lot including myself what I didn’t expect was cutting 3/4 of the job to do it and most of the skills were cliche OGCDs or in Queens case a glorified Dot far removed from what we used to do. SE thinks this is enough, I saw it and if the job continues to be as ambitious as BLU many will know my pain. This zombie of a job is nothing more but a pale reflection of what I loved of what I Mained! Starting to see Emet’s point now

So was the Shadowbringers plot and its arguably understandable villainous motives supposed to mirror the job changes, or the inverse?
