I'd rather see her die over her brother. There's so few Raen men to be found in-game but there isn't exactly a shortage of Raen women sprinkled into positions of semi-relevance by comparison such as Yugiri and Mikoto.

Seconded! Let the poor Raen boy survive, we're much rarer.
When the game's story becomes self-aware:

In the trailer
Near the end, I believe we hear Estinien talking to Tiamat to convince her to fight Lunar Bahamut. Also Arenvald returns with Fordola. We get FFXII Cuchulain in Zadnor now. Also the "important character" appears to be the one that is pure light - Venat maybe? I believe the fight against the Lunar Primals is part 2's climax. I think Lunar Bahamut is Paglth'an's final boss as well. Where we fight him is just completely different from where the other primals seem to be fought. Which seems to be Cartenau.
It seems in part 2 Fandaniel lures the Alliance to Carteneau to unleash Lunar Primals on them. I think we also go to the Castrum in Eastern la Noscea? Not too sure
Regarding Cloud Deck. It is using a new Ultima remix that incorporates elements of Scale and Steel aka Shinryu Phase 1 aka Shinryu vs Omega.

They did make every single pilot seat and corresponding gear view screens exactly the same. I checked using my LP hehe. So it's most likely, definitely, a mislead. I suspect the man Ra will be dying and taking the Valens fellah with him.The endgoal was for her or one of the others to steal the thing after it was completed, so she might try to do so oblivious to the fact that its Oversoul can be triggered forcibly.
Given the tendency for the trailers to mislead us, I'm hoping she still manages to make it out of the ordeal alive somehow.

Did adventurers/resistance heroes try raiding the palace to kill Zenos? He is seen picking up another katana, which I think might be misleading, as I can't see Zenos throwing away the magic Kami sword that Yotusuyu gifted Zenos for a shoddier katana, so I'm assuming he's just picking up that katana to look at it before dropping it and then picking up his real weapon.
She could be piloting the G-Warrior strapped to Cid's flying platform, while the WoL and friends fight on foot on the platform.
They’ve let the past two guys die, they can at least save one!

At first to me it seemed to be Zenos, but upon further inspection the behind does not seem as big...

The silhouette of the head and hair screams Ysayle to me, but no way to say for sure. Just as likely the ghost of Venat or something.

Fordola roughing up Alphinaud. Arenvald nowhere in sight. I wonder... is she upset, maybe Arenvald is lost to us? T_T
Several Lunar Primals all in succession... instanced battles post Pagl'than?
Diamond Weapon lookin' like a snack, kicking that missile out of the air.
Bozja by another name is looking interesting fight wise.
Nier, uhm, Ques que c'est the duck?
