Pretty sure this is bait, but anyway:
Discord helps because it is still Savage: Meaning if you are all new you won't clear on the first, second or even 10th pull as you need to learn all the fights and mechanics. Our group needed 7 evenings with around 3 hours (or 2 complete pulls up to queen at the late stage) per evening before we got our first clear and we even had experienced people to help us out with explaining, callouts and stuff. If we had been all new it would have propably taken longer.
Anyway.. organising 48 people in 8 groups and assigning roles and the right lost actions isn't that easy and being on voice for communication, explaining and callouts helps a lot.

While this are all good reasons to use discord, I don't see the "toxic and very exclusive" points. My experience - same with Eureka/BA back in the days - was very positive and I met lot of friendly people there. The communites I know welcome new people with open arms and aren't exclusive at all. Everyone can join and there a enough runs for new people as well as for people on all kind of different progression stages, no matter if it's TS, Queens Guards, TA or the Queen herself you are currently progging.

Yeah, assuming this isn't bait, there are discords taking newbies through it. There's one discord on Aether that is open to anyone no matter where they are in prog that meets every morning.

And you aren't gonna get 48 random people through DR savage without some kind of direction. It just isn't gonna happen.

This is the one that I got started on. They are pretty friendly towards newbies, but do take the time to do the basic research for the dungeon. Know what actions you need for your role and be sure to have multiple copies as well as multiple pure essences for your class. Having pure essence is mandatory for the dungeon, so you'll either need to farm clusters in Bozja to buy the fragments from the cluster merchant or else purchase the fragments off the marketboard. Also have a stock of reraisers ready to go.
