If that's all you said, then how do they even know you didn't type that in just now?
Sounds like you got someone out to be sour for the sake of it.

Don't worry about having difficulty with the Kugane Tower puzzle, a lot of people have difficulty with it. My partner pretty much cheated his way up using the wedding ring teleport lol. What others posted here are good suggestions on how to get around it.
On your macro setup, I think you just had a really bad person interact with you. I'd rather someone make a macro so they can interact instead of being completely silent.

Hi HayleyGeek!
I'm disabled too.
Fighting chronic pain makes parts of this game far more difficult than they should be. My advice is to tell the haters to take a long walk off a short pier. Don't take their words to heart.
Meanwhile, don't feel you have to apologize for being disabled. You are not a burden. You are a fellow player.

Me and my friends, we climbed as a group, any time somebody fell, blue kaboom, and revive, and bring them right back to where they were. Each one of us a rope to help the others back up. With the new 10 minute timer on blu self destruct that would take longer now, but sit down with friends, netflix, and make a night of it. Log out halfway up, it's okay to take your time.

OP there are plenty of able bodied people who have loads of problems with the sight seeing log. Some of the locations you have to get to are just ridiculous. The precision needed for some of these jumps is obviously designed to make players be highly likely to fail, which means many repeated attempts. So don't feel too bad over being unable to do it given that many others also can't and they don't have a disability essentially debuffing them. What many do is play as a blue mage to kill themselves with an ability, and get another player who reached the spot to res them. When you get ressed you end up in the location of the person who ressed you, thus eliminating the obstacles to get to the location. This is actually a very common tactic to complete the sight seeing logs. So if you get help, don't feel any shame over it.
I'm also disabled and also experience chronic pain which affects the use of my hands, so I understand your frustration. I also understand why you would want to use a macro to communicate to minimise the amount of work your hands have to do. Don't listen to players who say using macros is inauthentic. It's not inauthentic because you want to say what the macro says, and the message isn't automated by software. You are the one deciding to display that message, so it is still you talking. Anyone who has a problem with it is frankly too dim to understand how fortunate they are that they can do simple tasks without worrying about their physical condition, and honestly people like this aren't worth your time.
I will say though to be careful with who you are open to about your disability. There are some meanspirited people out there who assume that claims of disability are just lame excuses for not playing up to a certain standard, or would use it as an opportunity to make fun of you. And some people don't understand that disability can wildly vary in how it affects someone and how severely, so you may be met with comments like "well my disabled friend can do this, why can't you?". I'm not saying keep it a secret, just perhaps only reveal it when it is necessary and ideally to players who you know are good people who wouldn't use it against you.

I can empathize. I got a cyst in my left upper wrist that I had to get drained and the pain was pretty much chronic while the cyst was still bloated. After treatment my wrist feels really weird and I still have some issues with doing things. It's why I'm rather big on accessibility in this game, even in harder content despite people fighting me on it.

I feel ya on the wrist issues - I had surgery but it still definitely gets too painful for me to use a mouse after a while. Even I never attempted all the sightseeing logs, so the fact that you have all but two is very impressive! Great job on that!
One really nice thing is that the game is actually pretty customizable and has a few things that can help with various disabilities, even if it's not perfect. Lots of people disabled battle animations to cut down on the distracting glitter and allow them to see mechanics better. You can turn on the "mouse echo" to find it when it's lost. You can rearrange the HUD in any way you want for better visibility, and you can also macro the crap out of crafting, which I seriously appreciate.
Since for me it is the mouse and controller that is too painful to use for very long, but I can handle the keyboard without any issues, I changed my keybinds to use the old FFXI layout. Left hand controls macros and custom keybinds, right hand controls directions and right thumb simultaneously controls the camera. This allows me to not have to touch the mouse at all in combat, and just move and type exclusively on the keyboard. This has resulted in some annoying limitations once in a while (it took me quite a few tries to figure out the stupid teleports in E7S for example) but I'm able to clear savage content and pretty much all the other raids without any problems.

I would love to be able to help you with this, but I had to cheese the tower as a perfectly healthy adult, so i can’t imagine your situation.
For myself, my wife and I made an afternoon of it where 1 would attempt to progress, then the other catch up. If one fell, we could just use the wedding rings to teleport back to the “anchor” player. If you have a friend who is good at it, the easiest alternative is using blue mage as mentioned. You can kill yourself using blu magic and be raised further along the tower.
All that said though, the tower is an absolute piece of crap with invisible edges that make no sense. It is absolutely infuriating to do it when compared to how smooth jumping puzzles are in other MMOs like Guildwars 2...

It took me about...2 and a half hours for me to climb that dang tower. Never again. lol I can't imagine doing it at any sort of disadvantage. It's probably 10 times worse. I wouldn't wish that tower on anyone, not even my hypothetical worst enemy.I would love to be able to help you with this, but I had to cheese the tower as a perfectly healthy adult, so i can’t imagine your situation.
