Should I change to viera or female miqo'te?

I'll say this to start: I know this is a 100% personal preference thing and at the end of the day the only one that can decide is me. That being said, I'm getting kinda bored of my normal human male. Before I quit wow I mained a female NE (first time maining a female character in an MMO and really enjoyed it).

I just like to hear opinions on why you like one of these races more than the other.

If you wear hats with your glams, go with miqo. If the hats aren't an issue, or you don't care about any unlocked hairstyles or the ability to use any of the pre-viera hairstyles, go with viera.

I don't play female characters, but what helps me in these instances regardless of gender is this question : do i want be cute/fierce smoll or do i want be bootiful/stronk toll ?

When I'm feelin cute or like an angry fuzzball cat boy is always the way to go.

but atm, viera don't have a lot so that into consideration. Although, female NE mostly translate into viera atm.

Why not make an alt for each and spend a bit just running around and seeing what you think?
Take a look at their animations and get a feel for each.

As my fantasia purchase history would attest, I don't like one more than the other. I change when the mood suits me, including to au ra and to hyur and sometimes to lalafell for tanking.

Miqo'te. Viera is imo too tall even with shortest height

This might seem like a reasonably minor point but I've found it's a game breaker for me and I don't even bother with glamour half the time never mind take it that serious. I sometimes just like to wear helmets on my tanks and and a nice hat really makes a brd look much better in my opinion, it suits the aesthetic. So those ears are a pain in the butt.

I do enjoy red mage and summoner and I think a big wizard hat would look awesome but I wouldn't be able to do that with a viera....

Go Miqo'te if you value headgear, or if you value 'diverse' hairstyles.. On the other hand, if you want to avoid potential freaky /tell whenever you go Limsa then don't go female miqo'te

So that happens to female miqo'te but not viera? I figured if I got a questionable tell it wouldn't matter if it was a miqo'te or viera lol.
