    You mean like the healers who run profane and NEVER cast a heal. Doesn't matter if the party needs healing they continue to glare glare glare and leave it up to the other healer or healers to keep the party alive. You got to be joking.

    This damage centric mentality is really a joke. People new to that duty are also every bit entitled to the loot just like everyone else.

    No, we don't need DPS meters at all.
    Hell, we already have enrage mechanics. If you don't kill the boss fast enough then you wipe. Easy.

    They are never going to add a DPS meter to the game, because then they officially has let out that it is ok to shame people for their DPS whether it is good or bad or ok... or just enough....

    THEY are never ever ever gonna do that, it would be a horrible PR stunt to do, and they may even end removing the current logs that logs onto your system of what you do to prevent 3rd party software logging, if it keeps going like this, as if often goes.

    Tbh proplem with that is all wipe and cant tell were low link is on games.

    That's the kind of mentality that DPS meters cause. The "weak link" in a party will get shamed or yelled at because they didn't smash buttons fast enough for X or Y reason.

That way players who are performing at their best will be done after one run and have everything they need, while players who still need to improve will need to run it extra times to get more practice in.
    This is more about what to add to the game, not really about revisions.

    2 Tools I'd like.

    1: a Range finder. there's a few fights around where the boss does say a 10 yalm aoe centred on himself. but then does a 11yalm donut. giving you that 1 yalm of safer space between the 2 that isnt always easy to judge.

    2: A coded overlay of some form on some mechanics to aid color blind players a bit more..
    Is that orb blue for ice, so I need to be mobile, or
    Is it blue for water so I'm gonna be knocked back, or
    Is it blue for thunder so need to keep my distance to avoid the aoe.

    Why the hell do they all look blue????.

    Some fights have similar issues with different colours like some are yellows and greens.. some are reds and browns.. obviously effects everyone differently depending on the nature and severity of there color blindness

    Castrum for example would it be so hard to put icons in those orbs. like a lightning bolt for the thunder orb. a water drop for the water one and a snowflake for the ice orbs... at leasst then even if you couldnt always make out the colours you still had a way to distinguish which was which.

    3:- for a bonus. auto loot rolls. auto pass, auto desynth maybe?

    They should instead look at seriously investing a substantial amount of time into looking at providing a thorough tutorial system that helps overcome some of the game's more fundamental mechanics, and core job skills to help alleviate the disparity in skill levels.
    The only problem with trying to create a tutorial for core job skills is that can change every time they rework a job (including mid expansion). That means they'd have to program an entirely new tutorial for every changed job.

    Certainly I'd agree with adding a mechanics tutorial to Hall of Novices. They don't seem to go back and remove mechanics, only add new ones, so they would only need to build on what's already there.

    I'm still waiting for the Limit Break tutorial. There are so many players who have no idea that bar at the top of their screen has a useful purpose.

    People don't even follow the current hall of novice lessons. Adding more to it wouldn't do anything unless the community agrees to follow what it says.

    They don't work the same way and the whole point of having the ingame checklist is to NOT have to go googling. What exactly do you do when you don't have google? Guess we go pen and paper and then post a video so others can know? We're making up for features that we actively need and don't have. Plus they don't show the hidden markers on the existing replay feature, plus the replay feature is not easily discoverable so that also hurts it a lot. And no, saying "well you should google it" does not help this argument as that just proves it isn't discoverable.

    FYI, this is about post your ideas for what they can add (or I guess fix if they have it) to help with raiding. It's not "lets criticize and shoot down each other", which seems to be a trend at the moment. I swear it's like festivus right now on the forums.
