Housing demolishing in-game warning

I recently lost my house, even though I was playing everyday and going to it to water my garden... I didn't know that I needed to actually enter the house to keep it from being demolished and I didn't open my email so I could see the warnings. But because I was logging in everyday and I thought that would be enough I wasn't concerned. I know a big part of this happening is my fault, but it would really help if I was warned about it in-game when I was logging in or when I teleported to my house. It's just a suggestion so maybe it can prevent this happening to someone else, because losing a house that you really worked to get and was there everyday is really sad. So, that's it, I'm already back to placard clicking hell. Thank you for your time.

IIRC there is a timer, but it's in the menu.
But maybe I'm just hallucinating.

Yup, there is, but I didn't know about that either before it got demolished. But that makes it even easier to implement the warning

I don't know - the email warning is pretty loud: "FINAL FANTASY XIV Housing Automatic Demolition Notice" -- That's not something I would just skip over.

The warning in the duty timer menu is there, but not sure if there was any other warning or not. (I was away from the game long enough to come real close to losing my house, just one time, the email freaked me out just with the subject line...)

Yeah, I recieved the emails but I'm not used to reading it constantly, I usually look the ones I get notified on my phone and I didn't get notified on those. And as I said, I didn't look too much because I didn't know that I needed to enter the house, not just log in. It's just a little thing that could have helped me and can help anyone else that gets into this situation too
