I HATE the hildebrand questline.. HATE HATE HATE it... The only reason I'm doing it, is because Mentor roulette is locked behind it... Can we please undo that!

You can skip the cutscenes, in case you forgot.
You can also just not read any of the Dialogue and just run through the Quests.

This, it's what I do.

Mentor roulette exists to help fill ques. Hildy unlocks 4 trials, some of which are long ques because of how many people dont have them unlocked(either due to lack of interest or lack of knowledge they exist). If doing the thing that mentor roulette exists for isnt something you can handle, maybe stop pretending to be a mentor.

Or.. you can accept that not everyone likes the same content. All the OP said is that they hate Hildibrand's stuff.. and they're not the only one. You don't need to go on a mentor related tirade over it. I will agree though that Hildibrand stuff shouldn't be removed from mentor roulette.

I totally accept that not everyone likes the same content. I didnt actually present an opinion about the content in question, because how i feel is irrelevant. I stated 3 facts(reason for roulette, trials behind hildy, that they can be long ques - the most recent one especially), and i expressed my skepticism about the OP(albeit, in a slightly aggressive way). They didnt actually need anyone to tell them they can skip cutscenes, advance dialogue without reading, and do the other things to make something they dont enjoy bearable. The fact that their proffered solution to not liking a questline was to make four normal-level difficulty trials harder to que for makes me skeptical about the reason they want the mentor roulette in the first place(are they actually there to help or are they only pretending so they can get rewards?). So... yeah, i stand by that.

I mean I gues if 4 trials are locked behind it I can see why you want your mentors to be familiar with it... but man it sucks.. and it takes HOURS even if you skip the dialogue and cutscenes
