My question is do we really need "glow" at all? I'd much rather more detailed or intricate or themed relic designs. (Like WHM's nature themed leaf staff was super cool)
Unique styles themed after each job impress me much more than glow effects.
I did enjoy that Bards weapon when folded looks like an electric guitar, thats cool! Build on that!
I'd love to see a weapon design that looks like a musical instrument when its open in combat.

Give each job unique relic weapons that fit with their lore.

Personally I like the over the top glow, but I am an eight year old at heart so simple to please.

That glow is quite obnoxious. They should have done it like they did with the Primal/Eikon weapons, specifically Shinryu's and Ravana's, where parts of the blade/weapon light up. Nice and subtle, not distracting.

I glamour all my weapons, almost, into a mundane looking one... I don't get the fuss about massive glows, but to each their own.

Relic weapons always have heavy glow. This isn't anything new. You can get a replica without glow once your weapon is done if that's what you want. Though I will say that it's not great that the current non-glowing Law replica can't be dyed, but I feel like that has to be an oversight, that's not usually how it is.

If it wasn't a replica then I'd say it was intended, but since it is yeah I believe it probably just slipped their mind. It happens. Hopefully that will be addressed at some point.

While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.

The only glow we need is the kind we got for the armor in Eureka Hydatos...bioluminescent. Meaning it's a glow that's mostly noticeable in darker areas, and would come off in general as looking way cooler. But if we must have the traditional glow...take notes from the Zeta weapons and do something similar, those are the best relics visually for a good reason.

I gotta say I do prefer trail effects over big glow explosions
Another GW2 example, but one I think they do really well

Another thing they do really well is how wielding the weapons affect the characters as well, with the glows extending up the characters' arms and bodies, as well as footfall effects

While I agree on the type of glow, that's not exactly the right term. Bioluminescence is specifically light produced by living creatures (hence the "bio" prefix).

But yes. Generally speaking, glow on the weapons rather than around the weapons is nice. I nearly always prefer the base versions of the primal weapons too, not the crafted overly-glowy versions.

i just wish relics/AF had some logic to them
elemental and Zeta weapons can have a dyable version with or without glow
laws order weapons are undyable without glow

can get dyable of both HW artifacts glow or not
    Sb only dyable with glow
    shbs do nothing
