    The Dancing Plague applies Echo incorrectly

    When submitting a bug report, please use the below template and thoroughly fill out the necessary information.

    Date & Time: March 13th, 15:33 Server Time
    Frequency: Every time upon commencing the duty
    World name: Odin (Light)
    Character name: Soveia Shadowsong
    Class/Level: GNB 80, synced to 74
    Party or solo: Party
    Area and coordinates: The Dancing Plague

    Steps:
    1. Join The Dancing Plague
    2. See the following in-game messages

    [17:33]Each time your party is defeated after having battled enemies for a given duration, the Echo will grant you enhanced strength.
    [17:33]Maximum HP, damage dealt, and spell-based HP restoration have been increased by 10%.
    3. Despite the duty information and the first message claiming you will receive echo on defeat, you will immediately receive a 10% Echo upon commencing the duty.

    4. This may be an intentional change given how rough this duty may at times be, but if so, it has not been documented in any patch notes nor would the information given be correct.

    As much as hardcore players find this easy, this is a trial that people really struggle with in Duty Finder so this change is understandable.

    The first message is saying The Echo will be increased upon defeat (so 20%, 30% and so on), while the second message is saying it's being applied right from the start too.

    Patch 5.1 did apply the Echo to it, but made no mention of it being there before a defeat:

    Players will now receive the power of the Echo in the event all party members are incapacitated during the following trials:

    The Dancing Plague / The Crown of the Immaculate / The Dying Gasp

    Each time players restart the aforementioned trials, their maximum HP, damage dealt, and healing potency will be increased by 10%, increasing with each restart up to a maximum of 50%. If a player restarts after battling for less than three minutes, they will not be granted this effect.
    It's possible it's a bug, but it's more likely an intentional change that wasn't deemed worth including in the patch notes.

    The application of Echo right at the start only started happening after the latest hotfixes. i'm not denying the possibility of it being intentional but it should have been documented if so.
