besides mr happy, desperius, and zepla who has a good channel for info and who has good crafting videos (recent patch) i watched some other but wasn't really feeling them. no offense. any name drops would be awesome or if you make videos lemme know! thanks in advance.

It really depends on what sort of content you're looking for in your YT videos. It's hard to just blankly recommend with so little criteria.

WeskAlber can be quite good for videos.. Aside from that, there's nobody I can recommend, and nobody especially for crafting/gathering, at least in terms of consistently good quality content/material

I watch meoni since he has some better videos then mr happy on the same topics depends on which you want. I watch both anyways

Mica Does Stuff checking in. But I don't post all the much, its more a hobby for me than anything and I have been mainly doing updated guides and some random tips for ffxiv. I do have a list of vids I want to do on a variety of topics and some new updated guides that I am about to release, though so there should be a bunch more coming soon, with speed dependent on my overall motivation lol. I also don't solely cover ffxiv.

Ash10 doesn’t only do FFXIV vids but they are a great resource for crafting/gathering for the ones they do make.

Can confirm. Ashe10 does good enough crafting explanations and was basically how I managed to understand expert recipes. Outside of that, each youtuber tends to find a "niche", MrHappy is raiding and general game commentary. Speakers of Hydaelin (or SpeakersNetwork, something like that), GamerEscape do podcast-like content discussing patch content and such. Meoni is also general commentary but tends to focus on glamour. Larryzaur does comedy videos, as did DrakGamestein until I stopped watching (I just... stopped finding him funny? Or the people in his group I actually considered entertaining left). MTQ is guides (from what I know, last I looked up was her guide on E12S 'cause my ex-bf was having trouble visualizing Advanced Relativity).

NightSkyPrince is nice to watch, though he only recently got into XIV so he's fanboying a bit TOO much on ShB (to be fair, it IS considered the best storyline so far), so he mostly just played the MSQ on Twitch and uploaded highlights on youtube. I became aware of him because of Aerith's VA Briana White, who showcased some FF content creators.

It really depends on what you're looking for.

EDIT: Oh! EthysAsher for Lorecasts and Q&As, GamerEscape does Lorecasts every so often but Ethys is exclusively into Lore.

+1 to meoni as he gets stuff up pretty quickly, but his videos do drag sometimes... basically don’t be shy about skipping to what you specifically want to see.

I found Ethys Asher recently after watching a Mr Happy podcast and oh my! His lore videos are so informative and I learned a lot about the game's lore that I didn't know about before.
