Glamour for different jobs wearing shared gear

Any words on whether this will ever be fixed?

Example: I have always loved the class-specific scrip gear for DoL and DoH classes, but we always end up with much better gear that is shared, meaning we can only ever have one DoL and one DoH class showing those class gear, and the rest just showing the shared gear.

This problem has existed since the release of the whole glamour system, and was already anticipated even before the system went live. Yet nothing has been done about it after literally years.

This is really extremely disappointing. It's not even a game balance problem. Are there any official repsonse on this? Or can we please have one such reponse?

Why? Why did the devs deliberately design a system to make all the job/class-specific gear useless for so many players?

Do you mean having the same gear, with different glams, depending on the what class you're playing?

Only solution I can see is plates. I use that for mine some.

That's essentially what I mean, but you can only apply plates when you're in a sancturay, if I remember correctly. So it isn't really a solution.
