Housing relocation is one of the better features associated with our housing system and it needs to stay. Don't support the OP in the least.

And I don't think it will make relocation impossible. I think it will cause FCs to occasionally partially disband in desperation. Which is the reason the relocation system, in relatively unlimited capacity is needed. You can just read my post on page 1, and nothing has changed since then.
Moving house used to be the FC-killer. Relocation saved it. Nixing/nerfing relocation puts the Fc-killer back into the game. Fc-killer bad. Bad no good. No patch bad into game when game already good.
The argument "Well I personally wouldn't make that mistake, so I refuse to acknowledge it's a design flaw" is folly. You design a product to be used in the worst case scenario, not set your user up to fail.
Relocation is a great thing! It has fueled many trolly nights for me.

Considering OP is an account that was made this month, and still their only post is starting this hotbutton issue thread (which they have not contributed to beyond starting it and stepping back)... probably a troll and best to let this thread die?

It was decaying nicely until it got necroed yesterday by the guy that admits he's bitter.
Look, this info is out there, but I'm gonna put it here, as sort of an 'in closing'
Tips for camping:
-Be courteous. If you win a plot, lose a plot, or are joined by another camper please remember not to act cruel or entitled. The other players deserve the same chance you do
-Check city aetherytes at the top of any hour exactly, right as the clock rolls over from --:59 to --:00, this is when demolitions go off
-from the city aetheryte plaza, choose 'Residential District Aethernet,' check the directory page for all 48 wards and sub-wards, plots for sale show a price in white
-Goblet plots will be abandoned most frequently and camped by the fewest others, conversely, lakefront and beachfront properties are very likely to be taken by relocators
-Use the numpad (with numlock on: 0,0,0,0,4,0) or a controller to target/navigate the placard dialogue rather than the mouse, this avoids 'large mount' griefing
-Type /busy once to automatically reject all tells and trade offers while camping. Enter the command again when done to cancel.
-Conventional wisdom says that a plot will not become available until between hour 8 and hour 22 of the timer. So if you see a plot become vacant or know where someone relocated from, return in 8-10 hours with the goal of camping 12-14 hours, rather than camping the full 22. The only benefit of camping the first 8 would be possibly getting the tip on someones old plot when they relo into your camper
+FC specific: give multiple ranks the ability to purchase land for the FC, allowing you to camp multiple plots at one time and/or to camp plots in shifts
Here's a link to Sadu's Housing Alerts discord. This community gives you an opportunity to crowdsource your ward checks with other campers and help determine the time that a plot opened. https://discord.gg/saChECt
Don't like communities? Didn't like my flash card camping tips? Go for the college credit with Sadu's 22 page PDF on housing. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1..._RfEPNbrA/edit

How I got all of my plots I check on the top of the hour and I limit myself to one click an hour.
Let eng sort it out. Also who relocate rarely go from small to small and if you are trying to camp a medium plot that is s utter waste of time since someone will relocate.
Though if you annoy and act entitled at a small plot that may also cause someone with gil to burn to also relocate.
Though people might relocate to a small plot of their dreams or if it is closer to a MB better location etc . . . Though generally relocating from small to small is not that common. So chin up.
