But Icsah isn’t wrong here; at 80 you should/would regularly be triggering the “advanced” attacks, and while it is RNG, they trigger with enough frequency that you have to keep an eye on your bar to see if something proc’d. I would argue that is a detriment to the class.

With many classes you either don’t need to watch the bar at all, or there is some audio trigger to tell you a bar is full. Alternatively, like BLM or DRG, you have some visual cues to tell you what’s going on without needing to look too much.

TL;DR: I prefer to spend my time watching my character with glances at the party bars, job gauge or hot bars.

Suggestion example: colored flair to the attacks to match the dance type, so “red attack” -> “blue attack” (proc’s, dancer has a blue aura or glow or something) -> “better blue attack” (has yellow flair and possibly proc’s the fan dance, or a green glow). Basically something like blm’s fire/ice, but various colors.

For the actual step, I’d love for the character itself to be surrounded by color related to what they should push:
1) press step action
2) 3 small blue birds appear around waist (push blue)
3) the 3 birds turn into leaves, 1 smaller bird floats up around head (push green)
4) the 3 leaves around waist turn into roses, 1 leaf and bird are now around the head (push red)
5) same deal but crowns and yellow
6)with 4 small icons around your head, you know you’re done! (Push step action to finish)
