Anyone else not find Dancer appealing as a class?

Maybe it's because I'm a guy, but something about Dancer just rubs me the wrong way. I can't explain it. At first I thought maybe I didn't like it because it's kinda feminine, but it's not really that. I can't put my finger on it, but I'm dreading taking it to 80 and I'm probably going to save it till the last thing I need to level to get that mount.

From the way i see it, it is because the entire basic rotation, including the attacks which are effected by Fourfold Feathers and the Esprit Gauge, are in a technical sense, the same skill with different potency changes, which is reason enough for me to not touch DNC outside of any PotD/HoH solo attempts. Or in other words said, DNC feels to me like a sandwich being promised to me but all i got was a slice of bread with no butter and 4 slices of the same cheese.

I like the throwing glavies. Not too fond of the way the character prances around/shakes their hips.

I like my summoner spellbook pose. it seems perfectly ready to call forth enchantments on my foes.

Dancer, on the other hand, I don't like their battle pose at all - not just because it doesn't look intimidating but because it doesn't at all look like they're poised to either dance or throw the chakrams.

Plus the "constantly in motion" thing looks awful in cutscenes. Monk has that issue too, but at least they look very ready to punch something.

I like dancer but its far too slow paced and RNG based for me. I prefer MCH over BRD and DNC. I do love dancer's AOE abilities.

I'd like to see it evolve a bit more but I really like it! Came kind of as a surprise.
I like that it feels like a cross between a DPS and a mini healer. I'm fed-up with healing so it's the next best thing and the effects looks really nice.
