I leveled dancer on an alt and I really enjoyed it. I thought the gameplay was fun ^^
No class is going to appeal to everyone though.

Mines at 70, but I also really don't like Monk all that much. It's fun enough to me, but my enjoyment of it relies on my tank being competent and that is not always the case and I get mad at the job and myself for playing it poorly, but that's the kinda of person I am. It's ironic because I'm casual as hell, but I don't like being the boat anchor of the party.
I like dancer a lot conceptually. I like the throwing weapons and the dance moves etc. Gameplay wise I wish there was bit more to it. Not a whole lot goes into playing one other than saving up fans for burst phase without letting any procs go to waste. Too many rng procs IMO.
But even gameplay aside, there's nothing wrong with just not liking a class. Be its aesthetic and combat animations, its lore, its mechanics and rotation etc. If you just don't like dancer there's nothing wrong with that.
I love Dancer. It's CLOSE to perfect outside of its over-reliance on RNG (Flourish skills, Feathers, Flourish Feathers, Esprit), as it's a nice balance of forgiving if you mess up, and rewarding if you don't. I've been having more fun optimizing our buff windows during burst phases and finding out when I can delay Technical Finish to line up with Potions and when it's a natural delay due to mechanics (say, when half of the party won't get the buff anyway due to being on the other side doing their thing).
As for it being "feminine"... I recall Yoshi-P once mentioned when they were designing the class that the team asked him if they should make different animations for male and female dancers, he thought it over and decided not to. So it being "feminine" seems like a matter of personal opinion? I think I've seen both male and female professional dancer pull off the same or similar moves (except, maybe, Jete? and there's no En Pointe animation, which is usually a female ballet dance move, I don't recall seeing male dancers move en pointe)
Yes. I've been enjoying dancer for long and even had in mind that it's my main-to-go but after playing as samurai... meh. Dancer is just too boring to my taste. It's pretty. Skills' animations are good, audio is marvelous but overall I feel sleepy having so few things to do and no combos at all.
I find it attractive when I have to do braindead content, though. DR as dancer + netflix do a good job.
I love Dancer! I think its fun to play, beautiful animations to watch and I love the chimey bell sounds of the chakrams. I play it quite a bit. Probably my most used class. (and I'm a dude)

I wish it worked a bit like monk where you could alternate between single and AOE attacks from corresponding stages of the combo.
Anyone else wish we'd get a 'perform' for Dancer, to freeform do its dance animations without the glowy spell effects? I don't need any new animations but I think this would be fun.
Gameplay its ok but the RNG kills the flow of your rotation.
