Sonic Boom for Blue Mage

I have now killed 20 Anzu and I am still not learning Sonic Boom.

Did anyone else have this issue?

assuming you're letting them cast it, t's RNG, but you can get 3 other friends and level sync pharos sirius for 100 percent chance. They don't have to be BLU either, just synced.

There are 2 types of Zu il the same location if I remember.
It's not the basic anzu, but the other. Try looking around

So its not Anzu its Azu that I am looking for? I went to both locations on the map in The sea of clouds and only mob that where there was Anzu.

If they use the skill, then you can learn it from them.
Check the battle log to see what skills they use if there's no cast bar.

Keep at it, it took me 30+ Griffins to learn Alpine Draft.

Well they keep doing Sonic Boom all the ones I have killed but I always dodge it. That won't effect me learning it will it?

As long as they finish their cast, and you see the skill go off, you have the chance to learn it. Don't need to be hit from the skills iirc

you don't need to be hit to learn it. if it IS casting sonic boom, then its just bad luck. keep trying or do what i suggested
