Good players can do it, there is no 1% skill elite, the issue starts when certain players whose ego depends on video game achievements end up obsessing and minmaxing so much they act as if they are somekind of godlike 1% while in reality all they are is just obsessed metaslaves who arent anything special but are often toxic to the community if let to spread.

Thankfully ff14 is far better balanced and the community is much better so this is far less of an issue here thankfully.
If my friend's UCoB static is indicative of the normality then I would argue commitment is the biggest factor, in combination with tenacity or lack thereof. So, likemindedness in effect.

If you put anyone in any given encounter or situation then learning and competency is just a matter of time, irrespective of how incompetent or challenged they are before that point. Just another curve.
