Emote looks great for sure, what a bummer it's attached to such an expensive (and apparently shoddy quality) limited item.

Tangential, but my Omega statue came out fine. (As much as I enjoy the emote, I actually ordered the statue for the statue because I love that raid series. So Omega sits on my desk here.)

But they very clearly did some tweakery to the production, because I saw my order to go "Preparing for Shipment", then the first deliveries happened and there was the fuss about quality, and the company made a statement about how they were going to look into the matter and try to correct it... and then my order status went back to "Pre-Ordered". And then it became "Preparing for Shipment" again five weeks later... and when my statue arrived, it looked like the actual pre-order images.

So I suspect they quickly put a stop to all the pending orders that hadn't gone out, did some serious quality-control checking on the production, and only then resumed shipping from a new production run -- and that I may have lucked out in being nearer to the end of the list.

That said, while the emote's always been a little bonus for the collector statues -- Shiva comes with the "Diamond Rain" bow attack emote, Odin with Zantetsuken, etc. -- I definitely understand the annoyance with the practice. I've seen some of the other collector-statue emotes and been like "If that was available on its own, I'd probably buy it." But I don't want any of the other statues enough -- maybe Shiva -- to merit ordering them like I did with Omega.

I agree, it sucks to have such a cool emote bound to a statue. The statue doesn't even look good people literally bought the emote for 200 bucks and got a statue for free not the other way around lol.

I have the Omega statue and the Ultima Seraph one, the Encyclopedias and the Vinyls because I like the merchandise, the codes are just a bonus. Hoping for a Ravana or Sephirot statue at some point as those are my boys.

Went ahead and bought a statue just for the sake of science, and I can agree. The thingy with the code on was in fact very tasteless.
After paying so much money, I was at least expecting SOME seasoning on it. But no. Appearently SE is so stingy, they instead expect ME to provide it myself.

This is terrible customer service and should not be tolerated or supported.

You seem to forget we get a statue to look at. Thats why its bought. The emote is just a little bonus.
