Omega Emote is Tasteless

Yeah it can be frustrating when you can't afford something you want to buy but that's just life, dude. I see people with emotes, mounts, and outfits I won't be able to get anytime soon if ever and it doesn't mentally or emotionally destroy me because they aren't anything besides novelties.

Seeing people having something you don't and being driven to tears over it is a sign of a different problem entirely and perhaps you're putting too much of your personal worth into the game.

Should I not be able to enjoy the game all it's content entirely if I choose to? Is there anything wrong with not locking away things behind exclusives?

I just don't get why we support this. It's not good for gaming. Literally every game has microtransactions and expensive exclusives these days. Assassin's Creed wants you to pay 100$ for a version of the game with a wolf mount.. lts getting rediculous..

They should add the $220 emote to the FFXIV store for $220; not that I support it but if people want to give the company the money why would the company refuse money?

As long as people are willing to spend a buttload of money on a few pixels that the creator spend 1 second of work on, this will persist. However, it is their money, their choice. Live and let live. They are themselves voting with their wallet after all, and so can you.

It is a familiar problem for me though. As a gamer I have made similar observations and do desire to actually have and own all the content available. But in the end, who am I to change other people's minds who do not see the way I do? Those things exist because people give reason for them to exist, how depraved you may find them. All one can do is find the patience and wisdom to meander through it.

I stopped raiding after E4S. I don’t think raiders should be allowed to have any mounts after the fact because I don’t have the time to allocate to it.Am I doing this right? I mean time and money go hand in hand.

I mean you are literally choosing not to enjoy the "content" that is a singular emote that you lived without before and may have to live without after, and frankly it's the right choice. It's just an emote, I'm always more steamed that my finances rarely line up for merch but that's because I like physical things to display in my room.

As for version exclusives or DLCs or what have you, again you don't need to buy them in almost every case and I'm saying this as someone who's none too happy about the DLC being added to FF7R that I hear is gonna be PS5 exclusive, I'll get over it and live on and maybe eventually play it if I want to.

Also do you have every mount, mog station outfit, minion, orchestrion roll, title, relic, bla bla? Do they rattle you to the point you can't play? Do you stop playing because of it? It would seem not or you wouldn't be able to post here and would've quit long long ago.

Actually the Ultima emote is the first floating/hover emote, with wings before floating and wings were in game.
