Please stop tying the coolest emotes to extremely limited runs of expensive statues.

I have the Odin and Ultima statues\emotes. There was a problem with my Shiva statue order so I never got that. With the Omega statue I didn't even know it was a thing until I saw someone in-game with the emote. These things sell out immediately on the SE store. Ebay has several Omega statues for over $450 and a good number are selling just the statue without the code, still for higher than the SE store's price.

I understand it's okay to have some items in-game be rare or harder to obtain, but the way the sale of these things has been is pretty ridiculous.

I have to disagree. If people are paying upwards of 400$ for something, I think tossing in a super cool emote is the least SE can do.

My only real complaint is them never putting these statues back on the store after say, a year or two. Since if you miss out or weren't even playing at the time, you'll never be able to purchase one should you want.

The Shiva statue has had several re-runs over the years. I know of at least 4. I got one in the 3rd or 4th re-run.

I think ultima has had 2 runs so far.

The Omega needs a re-run not due to quantity, but due to the terrible paint job on their faces.
Mine are not meister quality that I'm used to.

As someone with the emotes myself, I think the statues should always come with the emotes - or the emotes themselves should be available on the Mog Station after a year or so of exclusivity. I won't lie - I only bought the statues for the emotes. I doubt I'm the only one.

Covid added an extra layer of 'hmm' to it all. I imagine not everybody is lucky to continue to have a disposable income, though they might have bought the Omega statue if not for the pandemic.

That's true. I suppose they had more stock of Shiva. I don't recall Ultima having another run and I've never seen Odin come back once.

It is collector items, I see nothing wrong with it, it is something for the ultra enthusiasts, it is much like people who buy classic toys in original boxes and such.

I'd be more okay with it if the statues had a wider availability or were restocked with any regularity.

I agree with this post 100% seeing people using this in game drives me to tears. I couldn't afford anything over Christmas. All I got was a sweater and some socks. I avoid any major hub for more than I have to because I'm so upset.
