Alliance Delivery Question.

So today I started lvling my Culinary job and when I went to my alliance in Gridania to get rid of some junk I noticed that if I turned in a Dwarven Mythril Frypan I would get 10million exp me being only lvl56 I was like "OH HELL YEAH!" so i went to the marketboard and bought a high quality one for 40K and when I turned it in I didnt get any exp I got completely gypped.

Can someone explain why that happened?

Bug?! Should have. Bought or crafted it should give you the rewards

Did you check to see if the delivery item changed. There is a reset time for those if I'm not mistaken.

That frypan is a level 80 item. If you are only level 56 it should not have that item selected for turn in. Something is very wrong there.

Yeah that's what struck me as odd too, maybe OP was under the impression that turning in something as one job gives the exp to another. That's the only explanation I can think of but even that doesn't fully add up with what info they gave.

Dwarven Mythril Frypan is a level 80 Armourer Craft. The fact that this was available for a GC Delivery shows your Armourer is level 80.
It doesn't matter what job or class you're on when you turn it in, you'll get EXP for Armourer. As your Armourer is level 80, you get nothing.

The frypan is made by armorer, so all those EXP went to your armorer, I think? The culinarian turn in should be some kind of food in the relevant level range.

I don't know why I didn't think of that. Yes it is of course an armorer item. I need coffee. That is the explanation. Thanks guys.

According to the lodestone, your Armorer is 80. You got no exp because you are already at max level.

Your Culinarian however is 56.

Unfortunately you can't get experience points for Culinarian by turning in a frying pan.

Ahhhh!! Ok guys yes you are right. XD

I didn't know that the EXP was for the job that actually makes the item. I was under the impression that since I was able to turn it in as Culinary that I would get the exp for it.

But yes the EXP went to Armorer but I didn't get any because it's already at 80. That makes perfect sense. Thank you all
