The healers we have now all generally touch upon those various healing aspects in some way. As healers get more tools, they will get more oGCD heals or expansions to their current gimmicks. Forcing them into a single aspect could mean an increase in dps skills and expectations, but anything that requires a lot of healing (usually the last fight in a tier) will be almost impossible for them to handle.
I do agree with you on some aspects of that. SE devs have essentially cornered themselves design wise (especially with end game content) , so anything outside of a specific gameplay boundary is unviable, making most if not all classes in the healer role basically play the same -- the core of the way encounters are designed is a bit...in need of work. However that is most likely not going to change --- So with the healing types it would focus around making the Healer role classes Fun and unique to play above all, then number changes, mechanic tweaks and balances could be added to make the class viable even in end game content -- But the core healing style of each class would be centered around the listed idea, maybe with a small regen, or pure healing spell to supplement its weak points. That being said All of the healing style would be viable, but with varying levels of skill and knowledge of the class mechanics to master.

as for the "Forcing them into a single aspect could mean an increase in dps skills and expectations" <--- This is not necessarily a "bad" thing. Healers need a bit more diversity in playstyle, and a healer that acts as an almost-dps and still support their party i think would be a much welcomed addition to the roster, as now someone who wants be a DPS but is forced to support their team would now have a class that can do both.
