Unable to get level 45 Monk Job Quest

Was told to post here by support, but I am a level 50 monk and am unable to get my level 45 job quest to get the skill Four-point Fury. My MSQ is at lvl 50 and my quests are empty. I am not sure but I think this is because I'm on an old character? I only just recently revived this character from when I last played in 2017. The last job quest I did according to my completed quests was Return of the Holy Fist. When I go to the NPC who I have apparently completed the requirements for, he does not have a quest available.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Perhaps an obvious question, but have you possibly already accepted the level 45 quest?

Check your journal, or look at the "current MSQ quest" display on the UI - your current job quest objective is displayed in smaller text below it.

Currently that is Guardian of Eorzea, which is level 50. Nothing is below the MSQ quest display, although I went and grabbed a goldsmith job quest and it showed up so I definitely do not have the quest already

And you definitely don't have the skill already?

From memory it won't work outside of combat because you can't get into the right stance without hitting something first.

Unfortunately not no, I have mantra at level 42 and then it goes straight to perfect balance at 50.

"Return of the Holy Fist" is not a job quest - it is a class quest. The last class quest for Pugilist to be particular.
Have you even picked up the Monk job? Your Lodestone profile suggests not.
If you haven't it should start with someone in the Pugilist's Guild - sending you off to talk to Erik who handles other Monk quests up to level 50.

Ah I see, yeah I thought that because I was a "monk" now that I'd done it but I guess not? I don't have any of the monk abilities that you get from 30 onwards, meaning I need to start those. Sorry for missing that I didn't realise! Although I'm at the NPC Gagaruna that should give the first monk quest Brother from Another Mother, but he is also not giving a quest. Am i missing something else?

Sorry for the problem, lost all memory of this game and trying to relearn it so I feel very dumb haha
