    376 days, 2 hours and 6 minutes. I expected it to be larger, to be honest, though I do take a bit of a break in between patches to play other games which probably has an effect on my time played.

    Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
    A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

    I used to leave the game up and running a lot in the background while I did other things or AFKed for long periods of time. I'm better about it now.. but still pretty bad.

    2,040 days, but that's also including the 9 month hiatus I took a few years ago to go play Path of Exile. And it also includes the 6+ month hiatus I'm currently taking in order to play Guild Wars 2. I subbed about 5 years ago, and stayed subbed since (I post blogs on the Lodestone site, which requires you to be subbed. Loyalty as well)
