    Spinning Heel extremely disappointing

    The entire time I was leveling I assumed Spinning Heel worked like Cleric Stance, where once it was up it was up and its effects would last until you took it off.

    20 seconds? Kicks are so awesome and make Monk feel special, but 20 seconds (minus animation lock) every 2 mins?

    Monk just doesn't feel very Monk-like. Lack of a Boost ability, low HP, or lack any sort of "far-eastern" feel (gis, martial arts belts, etc) make this job just seem like a yellow clothed PUG with another fist element.

    I would like Spinning Heal to be a toggle ability, with maybe a slight TP reduction in addition to its damage reduction to make it more balanced, because admittedly Spinning Heel currently generates a ton of TP.

    tl;dr kicks are awesome and unique, and it's a shame to see them only available every 2 minutes

    I have to agree. I don't know what other races animations are like but I feel like "mine" is minus a snapping effect to it. I want it to look like I could chop a tree down with my kicks. Instead (to me) it looks like I am gently trying to knock a dixie cup off the mobs head in some kinda public demonstration. Breaking up the animation with some jump kicks would have been nice as well.

    Anyway. Mnk is such a powerhouse I am not sure adding effects or changing the timer is feasible without losing something else. My biggest grip is the "soft" animation to it :P

    Kicks are good for what they do, 100 Fists is the disappointing ability IMO.

    Also the kick animation is awesome on my character.

    Kicks are meant to be a quick burst of TP + damage. It's really useful for things like Ifrit where you aren't able to stay in melee range all the time, or stuff like Miser's Mistress where your elemental damage boost and faster hit rate from Kicks or Hundred fists can really tear things up. In fact the MNK skillset is tailored around giving you the most bang for your buck in situations where you can't stay near the enemy at all times.

    Pretty much, it's our own version of invig...course we can stack it with invig for smexy smex. Also I like the midlander male animation for spinning heel. What I would like however are a few more WS that have kicks mixed into them, prolly get those when level cap rises I assume though. Also pounce, please let me surprise piggy-back things.

    We already pull a ton of hate as it is are are the highest single target DD.....having even more tp generation than we currently make would make Monk OP.

    The low HP kills me inside, seeing as Monk has always been the high HP job. We really, really need a Max HP Boost trait.
