    • Gathering (good for when you don't have some serious gil)
    • Crafting (requires you to have some serious gil already)
    • Treasure Maps (need a party)
    • RP'ing and ERP'ing (hosting or attending one but you make more with house rp)
    • Farming old content and selling items on MB or Vendor.
    • Farming new content and selling items on MB or Vendor.
    • Reselling items from beast tribes on MB that are purchased locked behind rep rank.
    • Playing music in one of the HUBs (gil trades are rare for this method from my experience)
    • Doing some Hunts (solo or with a group)
    • Running through all of the Duty Finder all day (slowest and lowest profit earning method)
    • Boosting all classes (one time method which will neat you 2 mil gil)
    • Being a twitch streamer with a decent viewer count tends to neat you millions of gil on the monthly from random trades
That's about it, So just take your pick at what you prefer.

You can make a surprisingly decent amount of raw gil from doing HQ turn-ins of level 80 leves.

Granted, they're time-gated but a full stack of 100 leves can get you over two million gill in total.

crafting and selling CAN make you money... but its a job.

if you expect easy money, I wouldnt recommend it. to beat the current bot controlled market to sell anything, you have to stand on the market

you can sell niche things, but again, not many buy those so takes patience

No need for gil in this game, OP. All you need is skill!

Crafting works but it's under high competition since almost everyone has a lv80 crafter this expansion with all the accessibility changes. Lots of things sell but very few things sell for high prices unless they're hard to obtain. Still, a consistent market will bring in steady gil, even if not huge sums.

The most common one is Coffee Biscuits due to the ease of crafting (7 step macro with decent gear) and only 3 material requirement. Keep a botany retainer on duty to stockpile the mats and spam them whenever you want to fill 10-20 minutes spare time and it's a nice earner for easy spare change.

Best ways: Craft/gather the first day a new crafting patch drops when things are the most overpriced.

Crafting works best if you make sure to craft consumables and gear for the endgame upon a patch launch. Because in addition to omincrafters being fairly common now, you also have to compete with bots that craft the latest catch-up craftable gear and food en mass, which means in a month or less the catch-up gear collapses in price tremendously.

Easy beginner way to make gil is just supply simple goods to the market board. Most players are too lazy to move around to various NPCs to buy them. Things like tallow, dye or copper ore that is easily available at an NPC in the market area can sell for double at market board easily.

As with everything though, there is risk of it not selling and a lot of “work” watching prices for very little profits. Still, it’s easy gil.

You can also derp through things like fish where people are trying to undercut others...not even realizing their price is lower than what NPCs will pay for it.... so if you ever see that, buy it all up and NPC it!

Your best is really just to play the game and do weekly challenge logs (like, just crafting a number of items is an easy 1k every week)
