I missed it in my first posting, too, but OP is from Twintania EU. It and Spriggan are actually the only two servers worldwide with consistently available and devalued housing. Our OP will likely never know the struggle of fighting a crowd for a house.

Ishgard housing is 10-14 months away, too, so that will be a long wait.
