    It's the way we've always done it on my DC. You gather them as you run along the corridor and it takes ten seconds of AOE to mop up the whole pack. It's only a tiny fraction of the time you spend in there overall.

    If they did force it, unless people refused on principle believing it to be a huge imposition, they'd probably keep running it and realise it's not that bad. (Other than the whole dungeon being bad of course, but having to fight a few tissue-paper enemies doesn't make it worse.)
    Not the enemies themselves, but the increased roadblocks, locked rooms until you clear every weak trashmob, enemies being completely invulnerable during cutscenes and a few seconds afterwards, basically just even more systems in praetorium that waste your time while you just stand around.

    You get your fancy tome for that, if its not worth your time, its ok to something else^^

    Its the "Ignore EVERYTHING you can and run straight ahead - if possible cheese the mobs" mindset that got us that "stop and go" dungeons with roadblocks every few meters...
