That still doesn't make sense as there have been others whom have just been doing regular RP events (I've heard about 8-10 on Aether got striked) that get reported and a strike against them. Also can we be sure this is the same GM as the one who has been causing all this trouble? Since the name is censored.

Glad to see that the discord discussion PFs are also being talked about, but I don't see the issue with the RP PFs. Even if it's ERP, as long as the consenting parties do not do their business out in the open, they are doing absolutely nothing to harm the game or its players. And yeah, again, it's not just ERPlayers being hit with warnings, but also those taking part in regular RP, so... this is pretty sus.

What I find most upsetting is once you get reported for something in this game it's a black mark on your account that is never removed regardless of how long it's been since your last offence. Add this to the fact that there is no information accessible to players that make it clear that PF is intended only for combat content. The PF tutorial only says "it's for making a party" and the ToS don't say that PF can't be used for rp purposes.

So there are players getting black marks on their account because they had no way to know that what they were doing would be considered an offence. That's awful!

I sincerely hope that SE do remove the black marks on the accounts of those who were reported for using PF for rp purposes, because it's frankly extremely unfair to punish people for committing an offence when there is no way for them to find out that it is an offence until they get reported.

And it just makes players feel like GMs are pulling rules out of thin air, which is something that can make a person think of unsubbing.

The fact of reporting advertising ERP in PF is a fine line and I at least understand the enforcement and looking into that, my concern comes from assuming all the RP venues are ERP. It shows a glaring lack of understanding of the RP community and SE will lose a huge chunk of subscribers if they don't clarify and draw clear lines and not just lump everyone together.

If you clearly don't want ERP adverted? Fine, state it clearly, not vaguely, and don't punish those not partaking in ERP.

Like, the most recent one that Hazy posted? Makes sense! They were concerned about ERP content, okay, but what about the RPers and venue owners that are being thrown under the bus in a witch hunt for being grouped with all the other things?

Hey all, there's been a development to this event. The player who made the GM report that caused all this has shared the details of the report:

this is still pretty sus if you ask me. I mean ERP groups have been around since the launch of the game and they didnt seem to have an issue with them until now. Not only that though but RMT groups have been advertising their services as well for years now with 0 sign of them getting struck down.

I'm not sure about you but honestly as party that's not associated with either of the two (rp or rmt) this just really seems suspicious to me like they only just started playing type of suspicious.

It sounds like (based off of peoples reports) is that because it doesn't go against the ToS and there was no rules broken, it will be rectified as they said quote "will be taking the necessary actions to correct and resolve any mistakes that were made on their behalf".

Seems more and more like a GM gone rogue. Glad that the rest of the staff is taking care of the situation. Hopefully those with false strikes on their record get scrubbed clean.
