I think hes talking about the hidden temple instance, where you indiana jones it.
I dont remember that one being an issue when I did it. may be unfortunate timingor something.
I have seen Alphinaud stand in the bad, end up dead, leading to wipes twice, myself. The only times I've failed with Trusts so far, and they were entirely his fault. Really not helping my irrational dislike of him.
But, for the solo instance in OP, can't say I even remember that one. But, taking four times before you learn that maybe you need to do it a bit differently...
Yes, I didn't realize that the NPCs are triggering the golems because I thought the game "cheated" by making them immune. I thought I failed somehow until I saw them walking casually right in front of the golem and triggering them.
