    Cannot play FFXIV!! "Unable to obtain character data" ALL characters! Please Help!

    I tried logging into FFXIV only to find that none of my characters on ANY world are playable. They ALL give the following error message "Unable to obtain character data"

    I have characters on most worlds and none of which I can play due to this error message.

    Please fix this! I am paying 16.99 for a standard account + an additional retainer yet I am not even allowed to play because my characters were all "seemingly erased" from the game according to the error message that I have been getting the last three hours. I spent hundreds on optional mounts, housing items, emotes, and yet all seemingly gone today
