The blue icon with the plus is your job quest. You can continue these (side quests) to continue to be a conjurer. Once every 5 levels you will get a new job quest.

The msq main scenario quest is your main quest that you need to do. (Although, job quest is mandatory to get your job stone!).

You can do the msq on any job as long as it is the required level.
