New hairstyles please

Can we please have new hairstyles? For Viera & Hrothgar as well?

Add NPC hairs too; the contest hairs which were just lackluster & looked really similar to one another (and also don't look great on either male or female) No more mullets either please!

Hairstyles with ribbons, feathers, hair pins, combs, beads, dyeable headbands, bandana's, etc.

Maybe take a look at solo FF titles & add both male & female hairstyles- like Reno, Zidane, Wakka, Zell, Irvine, Tifa, Yuffie, Aerith (ribbon too please) Rinoa & Garnet, Terra, Rydia, Yule, Yuna, Lulu, Quistis, Rikku

Also, thick eyebrows, stubble & beards for all male races rather than a select few

I feel like that some of the design staff at Enix is still stuck in the 80s/90s and likes mullet/single anime bang hairstyles a bit too much, I wish they'd hold 2 hairstyle contests. One for Viera/Hrothgar and the other for all the others.

They could start by unlocking some of the already locked hairstyles. I know I've seen a few NPCs with race specific hairstyles, that aren't of that race.

There's alot of hairstyles npcs have that players could use!

'unlocking' them and simply copy pasting them all on the races.

Au'ra have horns.
Miqo'te have ears
Elezen have ears


They all need to be shaped around the different sized heads which pretty much means making them from scratch

Then there is the decision behind hiding it/showing what to peek out for different helmet skeletons.

We've got a lot of neat hairstyles and they all come at a good rate.

I don't think we have any neat hairs since most of them look almost the same.

I would love another hairstyle contest & would hope vastly different hairstyles would be chosen, rather than simple cookie cutter ones

I think they should also add Rinoa, Yuna, Ashe, Fran, Dagger/Garnet, Terra, Irvine, Squall, Sephiroth, Basch, Lenne's hairstyles as well and not "knockoff" versions of them. Also, port some racial hairstyles over to other races like Mother Miounne's hair to humans and Au'ra. We need longer hair, or at least the illusion of long hair styles (sideswoops, ponytails that have a long trail, long braids) and long flowing hairstyles that don't get wider at the bottom like it's bottom heavy. I would enjoy seeing curly, coily hairstyles. More real world, practical hairstyles (nothing frou-frou or overdone) but like a normal looking ponytail maybe two, one that's obviously aimed more for male and the other looking more feminine and no weird hairline. top knot buns, normal braids, hairstyles with normal fringe, windblown, short dreads and so on. The majority of hairstyles are short, boyish hairstyles and the rest are just anime/Cloud knockoff hairstyles that are shared between all races aside from Viera/Hrothgar they each have racial hairstyles that are really the only decent ones outside of the feminine contest ones. Viera customization is a massive disappointment, and Hrothgar are goofy. I don't think they'll ever be updated and what we have with them is what we will always have.

If I understand right (having admittedly not poked around at the models in the resource files to double-check this), the biggest problem are the Hrothgar; people have said that each of the Hrothgar face options is an entire head, each of which is a different shape. Which gives some nice variety in profile, but means you don't make a hairstyle for the Hrothgar to give them hair, but rather a hairstyle for every possible head a Hrothgar can have.

It would be nicer to have more actually short hairstyles. Not long hair that reaches your shoulders, not bobs or messy hair that reaches your chin. Non-hyur races have like 3 actually short hairstyles and most of the time 2 of them look like crap. I've had the same style since SB came out because the rest look awful.
