I have said I supported this, but I'm really curious to hear the arguments from those that don't support this. If you disagree, can you state why? Because you might know a downside to this that we haven't thought about, and we'd love to be enlightened.

I would assume it would be for convoluting the gear slot window even more than it is now. Clutter and all that stuff. no fun. I wouldn't mind if they added it honestly, the monk af is something I'm seriously tired of looking at, but I'd like to see them focus on actual content over this, honestly.

Chances are we have loads of content waiting to be released for 2.0, they are just keeping us ticking along on the bare minimum at the moment.

I'd like to think that, but I'm not expecting 10 various dunegons and 4 new primals at launch of 2.0, honestly. That seems a bit unrealistic. Lol.

Yea I wouldn't expect too much but going by the PDF we have the following planned for 2.0

Odin (Primal?)
Ixal dungeon
Ruins dungeon
Crystal Tower
Leviathan Primal (its pictured in the PDF)
Garlean Fortress
Frontlines

Not to mention possible new area's and 100's of new quests.

Well... I've been seeing this thread here for a long while and haven't posted, might as well throw my opinion since work is slow atm.

I am... Partially in favor of this. I mean, I have a certain thing against you NOT looking like what you wear. I really think that if you're going for optimum stats and end up looking like your catgirl works in a steampunk red light district, heavens you're going to have to pay that price of looking ridiculous for your stats.
However, I really would love to have a way to change my appearance without impacting my stats so actual vanity slots, as in added gear akin to undergarments that is worn both under and over your actual equipment that serve exclusively as appearance is something I would love to see

There's multiple approaches to the UI for such a system. The important thing is getting the developers to consider the system rather than worry about the UI.
