Returning player looking for a active home

Hi Hi ^.^

I used to play years ago, and I recently returned and started leveling again & would very much like some people to chat & play with.

I'm Canadian, EST and definitely 18+ hehe

All I'm really looking for are some nice people, that are actively doing things together, as well as actively use voice chat. Must also be LGBT+ friendly. I have no desire to join any sort of hate group.

That's it really. Pretty small ask in the grand scheme of things I think ^.^

I am currently really enjoying red mage (61atm) but eventually I might like to try Paladin or Gunbreaker & Samurai or maybe Dancer too hehe. I mainly play DPS with some interest in tanking. I don't play healers hehe (sorry!).

I am not interested in small groups, or groups that are 'family friendly' or groups that only play like 2hrs in the evening and it's dead the rest of the day hehe.

I feel like this server is just totally dead. Feels like if you're not erping or standing around staring into an npcs eyes affectionately afk for 10hrs a day, then there is no point in being on balmung hehe.

Can anyone recommend a more active server for people that want to play the game please? I'm willing to pay to switch, if it means I can actually play with people and not just solo 99% of the time.

Hey there! I'm not really sure what to recommend, Balmung is one of the most active NA servers and I've found no shortage of activity there in the years I've been playing. That being said, a lot of it is RP focused, so if you're not interested in RP, maybe other servers have more social groups that aren't RP-oriented? Best of luck!

Yes I don't have any interest in RPing hehe. Like I said, I want to play the game.

Would've been SUPER nice if you could've perhaps recommended a active non-rp NA server, instead of just sharing your opinion on balmungs activity for seemingly no reason at all hehe. Like, I'm not trying to be rude, but why reply if you have nothing productive to say?

Thanks Jeeqbit for all the helpful advice. I literally have been tryin to play this game for 8 years off & on I think hehe, & I never seem to last more than 2 weeks at a time, cause Im always 100% stuck playing solo the entire time, I get bored & leave & dont come back for a few years lol. I've literally played every MMO ever made for a western audience & I've never seen a game that seems so full of life & at the same time, can feel so dead. Like I feel there is a major disconnect somewhere that I've never been able to figure out.

I'll check out these links & see if I cant finally make some friends to play hehe, thanks again.

I have been visiting all the servers on the data center and actually switched to this one because it was the most active... I still cant find a good FC though
