Thank you so far, i could get quite a few ideas out of this thread. Im going to try gardening now and see tomorow what happens. If it goes well i have something new to do and can save a bit money for mats. Also i found a good reason to lvl a few more twinks, so thanks again. I guess i will ignore the relic farming in this expansion, they don't look that good and grinding all that stuff is not really that much fun.

It's this kind of question that makes me wish that FATEs had some sort of decent return on them. I can FATE grind for hours, right up until there is suddenly no levels / profits / items to gain from it. If there was something added to it that made them at least mildly rewarding to consistently do, I would be doing them all day every day. I'm of the mind that I would much rather make my money killing things all day long instead of sitting in town playing the markets or crafting. To each their own, obviously, for those that like to do just that, but being out in the world, even if it is flying from one FATE to the other, is much more preferable to me than running instanced content.

I hate going through an old zone that I like and it being void of life and activity, which is sadly most of the game. I could spend days in Lakeland. Il Mheg. Coerthas Western Highlands. The Lochs. And so on. If FATE grinding would allow me to spend more time in these zones while also netting me rewards at the same time? What a dream.

Roulettes give roughly 100k as adv in need per day.

Yea getting some decent gil from FATES would be really nice. There is no much point in doing them once your jobs are capped and you don't farm relic stuff. You get more Gil, GC Points and even Tombstones from Dungeons in the same time. I also have a few zones where i like doing fates, sadly there is no point in doing them. To me the fates in this game feel like a wasted opportunity, other mmos had solved this stuff better.

I miss getting gil from current-level FATES. Those were the days.

Trading in those gems for materials and selling them on the market is one way, but honestly I just wish their were more raw-gil outlets attached to them.

If you have gotten yourself to Hydratos in Eureka both Pyros and Hydratos bunny fates can net you an insane amount of gil, the FATEs are balanced to the number of people in the instance so if your by yourself go nuts.

So grind gemstones. The Orchestrion rolls, housing items, crafting materials and materia can all be sold on the MB. Two hours of FATEs, buy one of the more popular Orchestrion rolls and you've got yourself 400-500k gil plus gil from whatever you buy with the leftover gemstones. Even sticking to the crafting mats is good for at least 100k an hour. It all adds up over time.

Don't forget to complete your daily map if you don't feel like selling it!

I reccomend one of the following Treasure maps:
    Boarskin
    Peisteskin
    Wyvernskin
    Gaganaskin
