If SE make new online FF do you move there or stick with 14?

What I want is a graphics update in an FF MMO. If it happens to XIV I'd be perfectly happy, but if it comes in the form of a new MMO I would probably switch to that one as long as it's engaging. I'm tired of the XIVs graphics, also played 1.0 in 2010 and liked them better then lol.

I'd be gone in an instant. The longer this game goes on, the more you realize just how limited devs are by the spaghetti code of yore. I'm not a big graphics person, but even in HW the world textures struck be as yikes. Characters are severely limited in customization (and not just Viera and Hrothgar, let us be honest here). For a game that is very much an rpg with mmo attached, it always felt very lacking on the rpg. Combat is also pretty stale at this point. Too many hands are tied around old comp content and making room for new jobs. Everything must be just that bit the same to accommodate and all that..

I'd wholeheartedly throw away my 14 adventure to see what SE could cook up next! Besides, if it is a flop my 14 account will always exist to come back to.

I'd honestly like them to make 6.0 this games final expansion but work on xiv-2 with updated visuals and a better engine buuuuut I doubt they'd wanna do that since it'd mean all your progression would be erased and I doubt they'd rebuild ARR-EW all over again just so the content was still there to do. But yes I'm willing to give any mmo a shot, even retail wow even tho I'm hesitant cause gameplay looks fine... but as a lore guy my god they seem to not know where to take the story lol (Watch a ton of lore vids on it)

I doubt they'd do a revamp of xiv anytime soon... and idk if they even have the budget or manpower to even do a revamp on textures and what not.

I'd give it a shot, and probably just end up slowly transitioning over to it (assuming it's good). But the new PSO2 looks very pretty, not sure how I feel about action combat though.
