There's no guarantee of that. Some rare items from Eureka never reached an affordable price.
Ok boomer, back in your dayHonestly, it’s an MMO and it’s a cosmetic item. It’s fine if you personally never ever see it drop as long as someone does and it makes its way to the MB.
There’s such a sense of entitlement in the FF community. Early MMO’s had 0.001 percent drop rates on mounts and things, and getting it was special. 14 players want to run a raid no more than 3 times then make an angry thread if it doesn’t drop.
I'm curious to know what. I believe the most expensive thing in Eureka was the shiver emote and that dropped in price as soon as SE made Eureka easer to solo. I got one for 3 million gil, which I would say is quite affordable compared to the 25-40 million it want for back in the day. It's still not THAT easy to get, but easier than the old days.
Speaking of that, there is actually the opposite happening with some Eureka stuff. Those glamor weapons that dropped in BA actually shot up in price from the old days where they were worth barely anything since so many dumped them on the board. Kind of wish I had had the foresight to pick some more up. But I did save the ones I got from my BA runs and put some up on the board.
As for the hair, I got one on my 14th artifact run of Reginae, so I was happy there. It is going for 10 million right now, but I will just store it and see what it is a year from now when Reginae is dead.
I've done 20 runs without the mount or hair to show for it at this point, so I'm wondering if they deliberately made the drop rates even worse then that of mounts from trials simply to compensate for the loot being personal drops as opposed to having to compete with others.
I got the mount at around 42 drops and I then got the hair at about 55th run.
Its a good job I like it as I do feel you should be able to try hairstyles before you buy or farm.
I like the raid so I don't mind putting in the effort though I am from FFXI so this is probably nothing lol.
It is a bit low though as If you get a bad group it can take a lot longer and people should use essence and actions more to make it go a bit faster.
The drop rate is very low as I have done about 5 more since I got the drop a few nights back.
Got the hair on second day, sold it for 20mil even I still wanted the hairstyle but thinking the price would drop. Took two weeks without seeing it drop again so I just bought it for 11mil.
Cassie Earring is still pretty expensive. The Wind-Up Elvaan minion is obscenely rare as well, I don't think I've ever seen one up for sale on the market board.I'm curious to know what. What I find funny is the mount is a respectable amount usually (like 5-7 million) but the hair continues to stay around 10 million (cheapest atm is 10.5 mil on my server).
Not starting a angry thread was just asking on drop rate was all. I mean if we want to be technical hair isn't that valuable it it was a weapon, gear something like that yes I see it as valuable. I feel sorry for the person who designed it and doesn't get a freebee hair despite winning lolHonestly, it’s an MMO and it’s a cosmetic item. Drop rate is 0% for me after 70 runs. No hair, no mount. But i don't mind. Both looks bad and i don't need gil.
