SE: Please do something about Soul Crystals

Yet again today I've run into a player that has no idea about soul crystals, while I'm happy to help the 45 arcanist find his way back into a real job, there should be something in place to better guide players into the roles they need to do.
After level 30 it should be mandatory to have a crystal equipped to que into anything at the very least.

Ok so maybe mandatory isn't the way to go, it was just the easiest thing I thought of I'm no code wizard. I'm all fora night of fun with the FC but that's a far cry from a 55 CNJ showing up to heal your roulette.

Also, yes I'd so take crystals for my non-combat jobs.

It absolutely should be mandatory. In pre-HW content, you MIGHT be able to justify no soul crystal due to more cross job spots but since those were removed there is literally zero reason to not have a soul stone equipped.

Especially in DF content where you play with other people who didn't sign up for that. You are not helping the gorup in ANY way by not having a job stone equipped, you are hurting the group. And that shouldn't be rewarded or tolerated.

This isn't being elitist, you're actively gimping yourself by not using the soul crystal. I wasn't being a dick to this guy and I wasn't mad at him, he was a newer player that wasn't directed to the crystals.

I like having nights with the FC where we run absurd content without our crystals and see how far we can get.

I do think there could be more pointing players to them, but mandatory is not the way I feel it should go.

I mean they could do something like what they do with group comp requirements for queueing
If you're going to get randoms, you're not allowed to queue with non-standard jobs. If you're not going to get randoms, then you can go as whatever.
